Job Title: Guidewire Consultant Location:London,UK Job Type:Permanent Day to Day Responsibilities: • Lead end to end delivery for implementation, upgrade and enhancement projects • Leverage Configuration and/or Integration skills to develop best in class Guidewire solutions • Work collaboratively with clients, leads, team members to understand requirements, design and develop appropriate solutions • Provide oversight and leadership to junior team members ensuring high quality delivery • Keep abreast with latest technological advancements on Guidewire and analyze impacts to program workstreams • Work on Practice initiatives to build solutions, accelerators and create differentiated propositions • Focus on growing the Guidewire business, opening new business opportunities and expand Wipro’s client positioning • Creating a strong Positioning - increasing client’s mindshare with Guidewire clients especially focused on Claims space Capabilities • Analytical thinking & problem-solving skills Ability to comprehend complex scenarios, propose effective implementation plans & solutions in tackling challenges • Delivery Capabilities Delivery and project expertise with experience of working with clients both off-shore & on-site • Interpersonal skills Ability to drive & deliver projects, manage change, build relationships with clients, partners, motivate teams & be results focused • Personal Drive Entrepreneurial drive with a can-do attitude, a strong desire to learn and shape one’s own career path. Experience • Strong background in Guidewire Consulting / Advisory and Program / Engagement Management experience for large scale Guidewire Transformations • Program Management experience with a technical background in design, development, enhancements, upgrade of Guidewire ClaimCenter • Good background in Guidewire PC/CC configurations, customizations, third party integrations • Experience of advising clients on Guidewire transformations, resolving critical challenges • Ideally you will be able to demonstrate at least 2 complex implementations across multiple Guidewire suites – mainly Claims, Digital Portals, Analytics • Experience with GW Cloud or latest versions of Guidewire Claims module • Demonstrable experience of working in a hybrid applications landscape with GW and integrating applications on Cloud and on-premise • Experience and understanding of Edge API Framework and its integration with digital applications • Proven track record of starting a new initiative and progressively creating buy-in with client senior management to expand footprint/team • Ability to lead Guidewire sales pitches, solution creations, estimations and define tools / frameworks to enable a repeatable approach for Guidewire platform delivery • Good experience and understanding of the Insurance value chain – Policy, Billing, Claims, Digital Sales & Distribution, Underwriting • Ability to collaborate with Wipro leadership, Sales Teams, Service lines and partners to develop accelerators, joint solution constructs and implement them at key clients • Have the ability to work collaboratively, to include customers/colleagues and be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders • Experience on GW Cloud, migration, architecting cloud based solutions is highly desired • Guidewire cloud certification is highly desired Essential Skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ideally we are looking for candidates who can collaborate well and are outcome focused • You must be comfortable engaging with business users and client stakeholders • Have a high degree of attention to detail with emphasis on ability to produce timely and accurate documentation. • Provides business subject matter expertise and experience. • Ability to produce detailed process flows and supporting documentation. • Able to work with business users to review and perfect process documentation
