Role and responsibilitiesA backend developer to manage and deliver the rebuild of a Umbraco website from Version 6/7/8 to Umbraco 10/11. The developer will need to have a full working knowledge of Umbraco and rebuilding websites like-for-like, migrating the HTML and CSS over to a new solution.Required skills and experienceUmbraco 6/7/8/10/11.net 5/6 and .net framework 4.6/4.7/4.8Knowledge of C# and javascriptHTML and CSS with knowledge of Node, SCSS precompilersFollow 5 design principles (SOLID)Desired skills and experienceKnowledge of Visual studio, Jira, GIT and branching strategiesWorking with specifications but also the ability to investigate the current build setup and intuitively solve problems.Working collaboratively on projects as there may be other developers on the same project.Frontend development skills are desired to help with other projects as they move through the studio, helping support with amends and finishing touches, but not essential.
