We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Wirral to assist with the appointment of a Communications, Social Marketing and Social Media Officer on a 3- month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £13.30 per Hour PAYE Responsibilities: Assist the Communications and Marketing programme lead, in the development, preparation delivery and monitoring of the overall communications and marketing plan. Contribute to the dissemination of learning and good practice at a local, regional and national level as required. To support any media work by writing and distributing press releases and briefings and liaising with the media and stakeholders as appropriate. Support the amplification and promotion of national awareness campaigns that align with the Champs priorities to stakeholders and the public as necessary. Ensure that identified communications and marketing activity is delivered on time and any issues are flagged to line manager. Qualifications: GCSEs in Maths and English equivalent to level C and above and equivalent experience European Computer Driving License (ECDL) or equivalent competence with IT applications. Royal Society of Arts (RSA) II and III Word Processing or equivalent level of skill. Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
