45 Ancistrus (Bristlenose Sucking Catfish)

Description:
The Ancistrus has a pleco-like appearance but it does not grow as big 12cm on average . They have a light-spotted, dark body with a white stripe running down their tales. The males are most striking with a long bristle beard of protuberances These are extremely peaceful fish, but do chase one-another when they are about to breed. These fish are the brilliant algae-eaters and do not tear up plants.
