We are currently hiring for a dynamic and experienced IT Product Owner. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development and ownership of product strategy for IT products, collaborating closely with Principal Engineers PE to ensure alignment with organisational IT and business objectives. Your primary objective will be to translate business needs into actionable IT solutions, defining technology road-maps across various segments.We are currently hiring for a dynamic and experienced IT Product Owner. Your primary objective will be to translate business needs into actionable IT solutions, defining technology road-maps across various segments.Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the PE to balance New Development, Technical Debt, Compliance, and Security effectively.Manage the budget allocated to IT product/journey teams, optimising resource utilisation.Develop and manage the IT product road-map, prioritising features based on business impact and user needs.Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.Independently make decisions to guide the direction of IT initiatives and solutions.Prioritise features against technical improvements, fostering innovation while managing technical debt.Continuously monitor team composition and adjust as necessary to meet objectives.Work with stakeholders to understand technology needs and provide IT solutions.Define and track key performance indicators KPIs/OKRs for IT products/journeys. Additional Responsibilities: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with IT product development.Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.Drive innovation within IT by exploring and adopting new technologies.Report regularly on the performance of IT products to leadership and stakeholders.Ensure compliance with organisational IT governance, policies, and regulations.Lead and mentor less experienced IT product leads.Develop strategies to ensure the security, availability, and reliability of IT products.Foster a positive and collaborative team culture within the IT journey/product team. Challenges in the Function: Bridging the gap between business and IT for delivering IT solutions/transformations.Shaping and delivering significant IT product solutions on strategic/tactical levels.Simplifying and rationalising the IT landscape while championing customer needs. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.4+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or IT Product Lead.Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development methodologies, and emerging technologies.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience guiding product/journey teams in web and/or app development.Solid business understanding coupled with expertise in digital product delivery.
