Main Responsibilities Responsible for support the companies technical infrastructure estateKey knowledge of Exchange 2007 / 2010 / Exchange O365 / Cisco Ironport desirableManage mail migration from on prem to Office 365Good solid understanding of Active Directory and understanding of group policy managementSolid understanding of Powershell / cmd lineEnsuring high availability of systems using company monitoring tools and proactive maintenanceUpgrades and OS maintenance work as and when requiredAdvise on best practiceProject deliveryAble to help design and implement high level documentation Accountability: Serve as a technical resource by providing support to multiple projects and business unitsEnsure servers, appliances and Windows services including associated infrastructure is properly monitoredEnsure that alerts regarding related outages are addressed in a timely mannerProvide technical assistance and support, either formal or informal, for more junior team members and mentor new and inexperienced team members as requiredFollow a strict change control processWork to tight time scales / deadlines as and when requiredMaintain and implement documentation in accordance with internal policies and proceduresTo assist in release management and technical integration processes for projectsTo investigate and solve technical problems and long-term outstanding issues for internal business unitsGood understanding of Microsoft stack Server, SQL, IIS, Clustering, AD including GPOs, WSUSTo undertake any other duties commensurate with the grading of the post as may be instructed by management Experience and qualifications Understanding of core IT ConceptsProblem resolution and root cause analysisHave a good understanding of ITIL practicesSolarwinds experience or a monitoring solution understandingAWS / Azure / VMWare certifications or extensive experience beneficialHelp desk ticket interactionChange process experience requiredSolid MS Exchange 2007 / 2010 skills – MCSE / MCSA ideallySolid O365 Exchange skillsSolid AD / Group policy skills – MCSE / MCSA ideallyCisco Ironport management / implementation best practice
