My client, an established Engineering & Manufacturing business are currently looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Electrically Biased Maintenance EngineerMy client, an established Engineering & Manufacturing business are currently looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to undertake Electrical & Mechanical maintenance on a range of specialist equipment, including Furnaces, injection moulding presses and shotblasting equipment. This is a days-based role working Monday to Friday 07:30am – 16.03pm Mon-Thu & 07.30am – 12.30pm Fri Key Responsibilities: Maintenance, service and repair of all electrical and mechanical equipment on site, including electrical control panels, 3 phase electrics, control circuits, wax presses, shell room and furnace equipmentAssist manufacturing/production team in achieving targets and optimising machine run timesPrioritise maintenance requests and carry out planned, preventative maintenance effectivelyUnderstand and support plant improvement projectsLiaise with contractors on siteSupport the training and development of apprenticesPractice all safety and compliance requirements and encourage others to do so Experience Requirements: The successful candidate will be a time-served engineer with an electrical bias and excellent mechanical maintenance capabilitiesIdeally you will be qualified to a minimum HNC standard and can demonstrate a good knowledge of 415V electrical skillsMechanical and Electrical fault-finding and repair skillsWelding / Fabrication skills would be desirablePAT testing experience/qualificationExperience of working in an Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing environment
