ROLE: Product Design Engineer LOCATION: West London TERM: Permanent SALARY: GBP 30,000 : GBP 38,000 (dependent on experience) Premier Engineering are currently recruiting for a Product Design Engineer to join a growing company in West London. The role will involve taking projects from initial concept through to manufacture. You will be using Creo and SolidWorks and designing electro:mechanical products. Ideally we would like you to: : Be skilled in using 3D CAD software (Creo or strong SolidWorks skills) : have at least 2 years' experience in a Product Design position would be idea : Be able to create models / prototypes : Be technically minded with a head for problem solving : Have an understanding of design for manufacture : Have a design related degree (Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering etc.) : Have excellent communication and teamwork skills Responsibilities: : Develop your ideas from concept to production : Sketch ideas and develop concepts : Create models/prototypes : Do market research, work with clients and listen to their feedback : Use all manufacturing processes If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
