JOB : Mechanical Design EngineerLOCATION : Manningtree, ColchesterTERM : PermanentSALARY : GBP 28,000 : GBP 35,000 My client designs and manufactures a range of products that go into the rail, construction, marine and utility sectors. They are looking to expand their design team by taking on a new Design Engineer to work in their office in Manningtree. The Design Engineerwill ideally have the following attributes: : Knowledge/ Experience of Mechanical Design : At least 2 years in the industry : Engineering qualification (BEng, MEng, HND, HNC, BSc etc.) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar : Excellent 3D and 2D CAD skills (AutoCAD) : Be able to work well as part of a team The Design Engineer role will involve: : Working within the current design team, as well as liaising with the manufacturing and sales team : Producing 3D and 2D designs using CAD software following specific instructions If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
