Job title: Senior DevSecOps Engineer Location: Coventry, UK Duration: 6+ Month contract with Inside IR35 Working Model: Onsite Train, coach, and mentor team members in your specialty area. Pass on knowledge in an organized way Mentors team members where they are assigned to work, identifies opportunities for own and team’s development, promotes effective teamwork and competence development Lead and embed positive safety culture and process safety within the team to improve collective safety performance ensuring adherence to company policy, aims, and objectives Deliver and take ownership of service within agreed internal and external processes, procedures, timescales, and expectations Identify improvement opportunities through process changes and innovation and deliver to the business Lead and manage all aspects of key processes and systems Lead, develop, and motivate the team to ensure delivery of projects and objectives in a timely; safe, and cost-effective manner to required governance with a considered customer focus Promotes positive safety culture through visible proactive, consistent, and influential behaviors Maximise opportunities to apply process improvement and best practice methodologies (where appropriate) to improve process efficiency Actively demonstrate and promote the Client's Values, and positively contribute to a customer-oriented approach Design and monitor appropriate metrics to ensure effective performance and continuous improvement in the work of the team they are federated to support. Manage and build excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders Understand the difference between diversity and inclusion and what is meant by creating an inclusive environment Degree in an IT-related subject or proven experience in a DevSecOps engineering role. Certification in security and cloud-related domains is advantageous but not essential. Proven experience in large-scale digital re-platforming programs, especially with a focus on security transformation. Git DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines Cloud experience Kubernetes Automation tools (Terraform & Ansible) – Desirable: Cyber Security Kafka or another Message Queue Security orchestration and automated response Threat intelligence SRE Machine learning / AI SAFe Agile DevOps
