ROLE : Chemical Engineer SALARY : GBP 30,000: GBP 38,000 per annum (dependent on experience) TYPE : Permanent LOCATION : West Berkshire (Hybrid/Remote working is available) My client designs and manufactures specialist equipment for process industries. They are looking for a Chemical Engineer to join their team in West Berkshire on a permanent basis. The Chemical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: : Be BEng/MEng/PhD qualified in a Chemical discipline : 1:3 years' or more of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment : Strong Design skills with the ability to design new processes : Knowledge of / experienced with thermal processes : Strong Project Management skills : Understands 2D and 3D CAD : Excellent problem:solving skills : Proven ability to take a leadership role and motivate others : Strong communication skills, both verbal and written : Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team Responsibilities include: : Solving problems and improving engineering processes : Being involved in designing, implementing and overseeing project plans : Liaising with other departments to manage such projects : Ensuring quality and H and S standards are met : Running trials and experiments in an R and D environment : Design equipment layouts : Maintaining technical documentation as required : Keeping up to date with reports and developments in inorganic chemistry : Pushing for constant progression for product development and manufacturing techniques If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
