Learn More About Our Company Job Purpose An enthusiastic person supporting all elements of the organisation as a part of a strong finance function. Managing the day:to:day accounting activities through a collaborative approach with the finance team ensuring timely and accurate reporting and compliance. Production of accurate timely management accounts, project and cost accounting analysis and reports, supporting bid teams in winning business. Essential Duties and Responsibilities stylemargin:bottom:11.0px::Own the month end close process, ensuring journals are completed in a timely manner and reconciliations are maintained to a high standard.:Control and maintenance of financial ledgers, Fixed Asset and other registers, management accounts and accounting processes. :Monthly preparation of P and L, Cash:flow, balance sheet and management accounts including KPIs for local and Group reporting. :Revenue recognition under IFRS15 based on percentage of completion and project performance tracking on a monthly basis both revenue and profitability.:Support Finance Assistant and oversee ledger postings and invoices.:Work directly with project teams and customers on sales invoice raising and submission to customers.:Support the annual statutory audit process, ensuring that audit information is delivered on time and procedures are managed efficiently.:Preparing financial reports and budgets, as well as controlling and forecasting income and expenditure.:Ensuring that internal controls are implemented and maintained.:Supporting preparation of IFRS Annual Report and Accounts.:Support preparation of annual tax return and ensure group reporting is completed as required.:Managing HMRC and governmental reporting including preparation of VAT / Intrastat returns.:Support production of financial information in bid activity. Qualifications stylemargin:bottom:11.0px::A CIMA or FCCA qualified accountant.:Qualified through experience in prior roles.
