Are you a Field Service Engineer within the Sandhurst area looking for an opportunity to work with a thriving UK’s leading supplier of radiation dosimetry systems which are used by Hospitals, industrial, nuclear and research facilities.As a Field Service Engineer will be responsible for service visits, call outs and installations at customers premises approximately 2 days a week. Along with repairs and manufacturing at out base in Sandhurst approx. 3 days a week.Key Duties and Responsibilities As a Field Service engineer you will attend customer sites and perform routine, preventative maintenanceTroubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment, determine possible causes for malfunctions, and perform repairs as suggested by diagnostics and assessment.To carry out engineering installation and commissioning of equipment at customers sites in UK and IrelandFlexibility to support customers and when necessary attend customer sites at short notice and out of normal working hours when requiredMaintain accurate records of mechanical changes and write up change logsTo maintain and improve upon personal skills related to the position, through experience and trainingSupport for any technical issuesPromote the Phoenix product line when liaising with customers and support the sales team with quotations. Key Skills and Competencies Previous Mechanical and Electronics experienceAbility to read and understand mechanical drawingsMechanical fitting skillsAbility to read and understand electrical drawingsAbility to wire to drawingExperience with Medical equipment machineryGood diagnostic skills and logical fault finding abilityPrepared to travel and work independently.Full UK driving licencePrepared to undergo security clearance Benefits 25 days annual leave3 pension contributionHTSL Group Life AssuranceCar allowance/vehicle
