There is a need within Adult Social Care to raise awareness with staff and residents to increase the uptake of direct payments. This exciting role will work towards achieving this outcome and will require someone who can work on their own initiative and be able to engage staff and residents as well have an in depth understanding of direct payments and the Care Act. You will work alongside the Direct Payment Support Service operated by our partners in Action on Disability and attend the Direct Payment Steering Group.
