Engineering Process Operator (Saw, Pipe-bender etc)

Description:
The Manufacturing Process Operator will be responsible for the first stage process shop and final assembly of all products to support ISO 9001; 2015 Quality Management System for all departments in Zeeco Europe Ltd. The primary responsibility of the Manufacturing Process Operator is to ensure that ALL parts are processed ready for the welding bays along with assembling products ready for final inspection. Documentation (Cutting lists, works orders, Inspection Test Plans are to be adhered to. Pipe Stock in the rear yard to be clearly marked up along with full traceability, stored correctly and safely. Materials to be pulled and marked up as Work In Progress so as to keep the stock records correctly. Responsibilities: Inspecting of pipes / tubes received, booking them in, Non-Ferrous items will need to be Positive Material Identified (PMI) using the material certificate. (Color Coded) ALL parts cut will be marked up with PO / heat number so as to keep full traceability during WIP.. Report progress regularly on the assigned tasks to ZEL Manufacturing Engineer. Assembly products to the relevant GA drawing ready for Final Inspection. To produce and maintain accurate inspection records. Control defective items via segregation from good product. Picking kits from stock as part of Work In Progress (WIP). Cover Stores holidays Unloading / loading pipes. Keep Process Shop area clean and tidy Keep staging area clearly marked with Job numbers. Knowledge/Skills and Experience: Forklift / Pallet Stacker Licence Excellent communicator - verbal and written Problem solving skills Negotiation skills Experience of working in a Manufacturing metal working environment Experience of reading and understanding piece part drawings Additional Requirements: To actively work towards maintaining and improving the Zeeco Quality system whilst adhering to the requirements of the ISO9001: 2015. To ensure that the Company Health and Safety Policy is adhered to, actively promoting a safe working environment.
