Teaching AssistantAbout the RoleService Care Solutions are seeking a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join Bexley Council's Marlborough Community School to enable access to learning for learners with complex learning needs including ASD, SLD and PMLD with an Education Health Care plan. The Teaching Assistant will be required to support learners with communication, self-care, mobility and feeding.Key Responsibilities Provide support to learners with complex learning needsAssist learners with communication, self-care, mobility and feedingWork collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure learner's needs are metImplement strategies to support learner's progress and developmentContribute to the assessment and evaluation of learner's progress Requirements Experience working with learners with complex learning needsKnowledge of ASD, SLD and PMLDExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionalsFlexibility and adaptability Qualifications Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalentRelevant experience in a similar role 19.5 hours per week, Weds-Fri 9:15-4:15. £31.82 per hour.How to ApplyIf you are a highly motivated Teaching Assistant with experience working with learners with complex learning needs, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
