Summary This role has the flexibility to function on a remote basis for those outside the region OR corporate Basking Ridge NJ site based if local to NJ.We are looking for a passionate and forward-thinking Global R&D Learning Experience Leader to develop and manage impactful scientific and technical learning programs for our R&D associates. This role will create and continuously improve scientific and technical learning across multiple modalities and formats using an array of creative approaches that engage our learners, increase expertise, and drive ownership of their learning plans. The ideal candidate will be creative, data driven, and learner-obsessed with experience in developing and managing a learning program from content to delivery.** Prior to applying, review the Education & Qualification section - Be sure you possess the Minimum years of experience and qualifications required. Responsibilities - Conducts in-depth job-task analysis and/or needs assessment to determine scientific and technical learning solutions and other performance enhancement solutions (e.g., management reinforcement, rewards, role clarity, job aids).- Facilitates scientific and technical learning programs and design learning experience activities that enable speed and flexibility, to include peer-to-peer coaching, mentoring, knowledge sharing, OJT, content curation, etc.- Develops individual scientific and technical learning program goals, overall program objectives and module objectives. Works with a variety of scientific and technical subject matter experts to design learning curricula and programs.- Creates scientific and technical new learning programs from scratch, working independently, starting with conducting a formal analysis of learning needs.- Design and adoption of RD onboarding for both US and Japan.- Proactively identifies and implements improvements in scientific and technical training curriculum and communication using industry standards for testing methods, needs analysis, and redesign for communications, training programs and learning materials- Applies knowledge of adult learning theory to identify appropriate learning media and methodologies based on audience learning styles, course content, audience location, point within the learning process, etc.- Designs evaluation strategies and tools to measure program effectiveness, and to determine whether desired learning and performance outcomes are achieved.- Manage project timelines and coordinate appropriate internal resources to create high-quality, on-time deliverables that stay within scoped timeline and budget.- Develops project kick-off decks, project status updates, executive summaries and case studies, and document client meetings. Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation. Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university) - Bachelor's Degree required- Master's Degree preferred Experience Qualifications - 7 to 10 years or More Years Bachelor's degree required, in addition to 7+ years of scientific and technical learning design experience, to include leading learning program design efforts required - Prior experience working in Pharmaceuticals Research & Development, Required required- Prior experience includes working with complex content and designing learning for multiple delivery modalities (traditional classroom, online classroom, and self-paced e-Learning modules) required - Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills required- Demonstrates excellent project management skills required- Demonstrated ability to design and develop learning solutions that produce measurable business results. required- Use of learning metrics and assessment tools. preferred- Proven ability to design and deliver effective learning solutions in multiple modalities (including web-based, in-person instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, blended, etc.) for complex technical tools required- Ability to use multiple learning methods and to match the appropriate methods with the subject matter. preferred- Experience in adult learning methodologies and proven ability to evaluate learning effectiveness using instructional design assessment strategies requiredDaiichi Sankyo, Inc. is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
