Join a fast:paced IT MSP as a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer and embark on a journey of continuous professional growth. This job offers hybrid working (2 days at home); the office is based in Holborn. THE 2ND LINE IT SUPPORT ROLE: Overall, youll be handling complex technical problems promptly and efficiently. : Throughout keeping accurate records and maintaining a knowledge base. : Collaborating with the team to identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall support experience for clients. : Participating in project work and providing input on technical solutions. : Staying up:to:date with new technologies and industry updates ensures you can provide the best support possible. : Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure that you can provide the best possible support and contribute to a positive work environment. KEY SKILLS and EXPERIENCE: : Experience as a 2nd Line Support Engineer. : At least one of the following certifications is preferred: MCITP, MCP, A+, N+, Apple : Experience with: : TCP/IP and troubleshooting internet connectivity. : Routers and SonicWALL, DrayTek firewalls. : Network switching : Terminal Services and Citrix. : Server hardware technologies. : Data backup and recovery support. : Understanding of DNS services. : Wireless technologies. : Strong knowledge of server operating systems : Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac troubleshooting and configuration : Ideally, knowledge of networking and firewalls : Must be London:based. : We highly value previous experience in an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment. SALARY and BENEFITS YOU'LL RECEIVE AS 2ND LINE IT SUPPORT: : GBP 32,000 : GBP 35,000 base salary : Monthly agreement efficiency bonus (up to 20 of salary). : 20 days holiday (increasing with tenure up to 25) + birthday holiday + public holidays. : Private healthcare. : Pension. : Monthly mobile phone allowance. : Structured training plan with regular investment.
