ROLE: Project Manager LOCATION: Reading TERM: Permanent SALARY: GBP 35,000: GBP 40,000, dependent on experience My client designs, manufactures and installs specialist products. They are looking for a Project Manager to join their team in the Reading area on a permanent basis. The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes: : Have a solid background in Mechanical Engineering, having worked in Manufacturing environments : Knowledge of design processes and installation : Able to manage an organise multiple projects, taking things from order to installation : Strong project management skills : Excellent organisational skills : Professional, with the ability to develop working relationships : Excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written : Proficient using MS Office : Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi:disciplinary team Responsibilities include: : Manging orders and design processes, organising delivery dates, liaising between the customer and the factory : Writing method statements and installation plans : Working directly with customers and developing relationships : Producing detailed works schedules, resource and projects plans : Planning and managing resources, both sub contract and direct labour : Managing and delivering project plans : Reporting progress, managing risks and responding to issues : Owning the profit and loss and cash flow : Occasional travel for site visits as required If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
