A Cladding Draughtsman is required in a well-established Facade company based in DorsetResponsibilities: Complying with all relevant Company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policies.Preparing cladding layout drawings and flashing and gutter details.A Cladding Draughtsman is required in a well-established Facade company based in DorsetResponsibilities: Complying with all relevant Company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policies.Preparing cladding layout drawings and flashing and gutter details.Liaising within house designers, steelwork draughtsperson, bid managers and construction team as well as external design team meetings with architects, engineers and clients.Assisting with site surveys when required.Creating flashing, gutter and fabrication drawings.Preparing lists for manufacturing, purchase and despatch.Issuing and monitoring Requests for Information RFIs and responding to site queries.Creating detailed parts and fixings inventories of all cladding elements.Attending launch and project meetings.Advising bid managers of any extras or variations as the project progresses.Liaising with Works Manager, Production Manager and factory team regarding drawing issues and queries.To note: The above list covers the primary responsibilities of the Cladding Draughtsperson. Additional duties not mentioned here may also be required as part of the role. Qualifications: Previous cladding detailing experience in a similar industry.AutoCAD LT, Tekla Structures or similar software.Attention to detail.Team player.Commercially-aware.Organized and methodical.Able to work under own initiative.Excellent communication skills.
