Quality InspectorBurnley4 Week Shift Rotation:Shit 1: Mon-Thurs 07:30-16:15 Fri 07:30-12:30 - £15.77 p/h.Shift 2: Mon-Thurs 16:00-00:00 Fri 12:00-18:00 - £20.90 p/h.Shift 3: Mon-Thurs 22:00-07:30 – £20.21 p/h. Quality InspectorThe RoleMy client is a leading manufacturer in their field, with a state of the art facility based in Burnley. This role is to join their quality department, on a three shift rotation every 4 weeks. You will be responsible for quality inspection, having input into continuous improvement and auditing. Quality InspectorMain ResponsibilitiesFirst off and Patrol Inspection.First article inspection reports.Final view inspection of completed assemblies prior to despatch.Manually handle weights up to 25kg.Use computer equipment for data purposes.To record and maintain inspection and test records.Support the QA team and assist with internal audits.Liaise with Production Managers and Quality on corrective and preventive action.Contribute in a team working environment.Contribute to continuous improvement.Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.Observe and practice the 5S principles. Quality InspectorThe CandidateTime served mechanical engineer.Ability to demonstrate competent use of general measurement equipment i.e. Verniers, Micrometers, Bowers etc is essential to fulfil this rolePrior knowledge and experience of valve assembly, inspection and manufacturing would beadvantageous.Experience in inspection of Milling, Turning and Welding disciplines.Experience of using CMM Operations and Faro arm.Tessa scan experience would be an advantage.Experience of NDT testing advantageous.
