We are currently seeking a Registered Deputy Ward Manager to join our purpose:built facility in Preston, providing acute adult mental health services. Responsibilities: * Work with the Ward Manager in the delivery of excellent care and the ongoing development and improvement of the ward.* Ensuring that the ward team possesses the skills, knowledge and motivation to deliver the highest quality of care to service users with complex mental health conditions who require stabilisation in a safe and secure environment.* Ensuring that they and the team uphold MHA and MCA standards and work to uphold the NMCs code of practice* Ensuring all relevant policies are in place, reviewed and updated as and when necessary in liaison with the Ward Manager and multidisciplinary team* As well as clinical duties, the appointed person will be expected to deputise in the Ward Managers absence Requirements: * A relevant nursing qualification (RMN) and current NMC registration,* Clinical supervision experience is essential, training is desirable* Evidence of CPD and intent to maintain and develop CPD and leadership.* Good computer skills* Experience in Acute Mental Health* At Least 3 years, or equivalent post registration experience.* Mentorship desirable however training could be provided Join us in this rewarding position where your contributions make a meaningful impact on the lives of others, and where continuous learning and development are not just encouraged but celebrated.
