Our haulage Client, offering supply chain logistics solutions is currently looking to appoint an experienced Customs Clearance Administrator to join their team in Lancashire. On a day:to:day basis, you will be using the customs software to complete Import / Export declarations, ensuring you are keeping up to date with any changes in laws, regulations, and customs procedures. Were keen to speak to enthusiastic people who have at least 5 years experience working with ETSF / Import declarations as a Customs Clearance Administrator / Customs Coordinator, or have good working knowledge of Destin8, CNS, NCTS, CVED and CEDS. Customs Clearance Administrator responsibilities include: * Preparation and completion of customs entries for import and export* ETSF* Liaising with UK Customers and overseas agents* Dealing with entry queries : commodity codes, duty rates, licences and documentation requirements etc* Calculation of Duty and VAT rates per consignment* Processing duty reclaims* Maintaining compliance with current and evolving customs legislation You will have a good operational know:how of ETSF and customs clearance procedures. Youll be a team player, yet self:driven with a positive attitude and strong work ethics with focus on attention to detail and accuracy, as well as being good with numbers and a confident communicator. In return, the successful Customs Clearance Administrator will be offered a salary up to A GBP 30,000, in line with skills and experience.
