ROLE: Principal Lawyer - Physical Infrastructure/Regeneration LOCATION: Manchester – hybrid RATE: £45.00 to £60.Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a local authority, based in Greater Manchester, who are seeking a Principal Lawyer to join their Physical Infrastructure and Regeneration team on a contract basis. ROLE: Principal Lawyer - Physical Infrastructure/Regeneration LOCATION: Manchester – hybrid RATE: £45.00 to £60.00 per hour CONTRACT: 6 months with possibility of extension Please note that this position will require office attendance once per week The Role of the Principal Lawyer - Physical Infrastructure/Regeneration To manage a varied caseload of Planning Law matters in relation to planning, highways and regulatory clients and elected membersMatters will be predominantly in relation to complex section 106 agreements, s38/278 agreements and s111 agreementsProvide Strategic planning enforcement adviceInstructing Counsel including Leading Counsel The Person A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with experience of Planning Law mattersPQE is flexible 3+ years and above and the rate of pay will be reflective of thisAbility to attend the office once a week The Benefits Weekly payrollFlexible working arrangementsHybrid working If this Planning Lawyer sounds like an opportunity of interest, please feel free to reach out to Hugh Barnes on 01772 XXXXXX, or email XXXX@servicecare.org.uk.We also welcome referrals for this position, where a successful recommendation would be worth £250.
