ROLE : Mechanical Design Engineer SALARY : GBP 35,000: GBP 45,000 per annum (dependent on experience) TYPE : Permanent LOCATION : Buckinghamshire My client provides bespoke structural engineering solutions for manufacture. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in the Buckinghamshire area on a permanent basis. The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: : Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical / Design / Industrial Design / Engineering Design or similar : 2 or more years' industry experience ideally working in a similar industrial design / development role within a manufacturing environment : Proficient with using ideally Inventor or AutoCAD software for design : Confident knowledge of structural disciplines : Able to manage projects and work to deadlines and budgets : Experienced designing products from concept to production : Able to maintain technical documentation and BOM entry : Knowledge of different materials such as sheet metal fabrication : Innovative and passionate about design : Be technically minded with a head for problem solving : Able to work well individually as well as part of a team The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve: : Being responsible for the design and development of various products and structures : Using Inventor and AutoCAD software for design on a day:to:day basis : Developing ideas from concept to production : Creating models/prototypes : Liaising with clients and developing solutions : Collaborating with different departments to ensure the smooth delivery of projects : Maintaining technical drawings and documentation : Providing technical guidance and support : Supporting product Testing, Verification and Validation If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
