Salary: 31,000- 39,000 (based on 40 hours per week & Experience) Date Posted: 01 June 2024 Job location: East Sussex Key Responsibilities:> Oversee day-to-day operations of the store.> Enforce exceptional customer service standards and ensure health and safety compliance.> Review weekly sales performance, analyse variances, and implement necessary changes.> Manage stock ordering and visual merchandising to maximise profitability.> Ensure adherence to financial procedures, including cash handling and banking.> Recruit, train, and assess store employees, monitoring productivity and performance.> Perform other tasks to enhance overall business efficiency. Requirements:> Excellent communication skills.> Competency in retail management, including Electronic Point of Sale (Epos) systems.> Experience in implementing efficiency and cost-saving measures.> Honesty, integrity, and reliability in the workplace.> Enthusiasm, flexibility, and ability to work weekends and late evenings.> Physical fitness and ability to handle difficult situations.> Proximity to the store address or willingness to relocate.
