This position requires a compassionate yet assertive individual who can manage sensitive cases with the utmost professionalism and care. My client is open to discussions from NQ level to 10 years + PQE. The successful candidate will enjoy a very relaxed working environment with generous holidays and the option to work 1 day from home. Key Responsibilities: - Handle a caseload of care and family law matters, including care proceedings, child protection, and related issues. - Represent clients in court and at tribunal hearings, ensuring their rights and interests are effectively advocated. - Provide expert legal advice to clients, including parents, guardians, and local authorities, regarding their rights and obligations. - Draft and review legal documents, including statements, applications, and court forms. - Engage in negotiations with opposing parties to reach favourable settlements where possible. - Work closely with social services, medical professionals, and other relevant agencies to gather necessary evidence and build strong cases. - Ensure all casework complies with current legislation, regulations, and best practice standards.
