We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Northampton to assist with the appointment of a Housing Options Officer , on a 3- month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £27 per Hour (Umbrella rate) Responsibilities: Provision of housing advice and assistance to households who are homeless or threatened with homeless in accordance with Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996, including the determination of homelessness, eligibility, priority need, local connection, and intentional homelessness. The conducting of casework, issuing of statutory decision letters, recording of outcomes, negotiating with landlords, health and other support agencies, and production of personal housing plans. Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
