Location: Manchester Working hours: Full time 7.00am to 19.00pm 7.00pm to 7:00am shifts 4 on 4 off A Mechanical Engineer is needed to undertake general plumbing tasks as a part of the role and general mechanical tasks including maintenance and reactive calls. Working to a high standard of Building Maintenance for various FM Companies, we require a fully reliable Mechanical Engineer who can work on their own initiative or within a team environment. Produce high quality reports of their findings along with estimates, for producing quotations. The role will involve being the face of the company on site so smart appearance and being able to discuss findings with others is required. Candidate Requirements and additional information: * A sound mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems * Experience of working on commercial hot and cold:water systems * Approved and formal apprenticeship served in plumbing/mechanical skill area or relevant and practical experience within a similar industry * Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipments * Complete all statutory and non:statutory maintenance in accordance with set maintenance schedules and contract SLAs * Complete reactive works in line with contract SLAs * Sound knowledge of Health and safety including ISO 9001 and 14,001 * Ability to measure, work to plans, read technical diagrams and communicate, present and report technical information as appropriate to trade/skill. * Contract work for 6 months * Salary on offer (GBP21.63ph) A drivers license is required Please call or send CV IDN1
