QSW - Children We Care For TeamQSW - Children We Care For Team Contract: Initially for 3 monthsLocation: Chichester or WorthingAbout the Role:This company is seeking an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join their Children We Care For Team in the South of England. The successful candidate will have at least 2/3 years of experience in a related team and recent front-line social work experience. They will be responsible for working with children and young people, identifying their needs, and developing direct work skills. The role requires social workers to travel to see children wherever they are placed, which could be nationwide.Key Responsibilities: Building relationships with children and young people over a period of time in order to help them settle, make sense and recover from their experiences and look forward to their futureIdentifying risk and carrying out good assessment skillsUndertaking court work as part of the role requirementWorking collaboratively with multi-agency teams Requirements: At least 2/3 years of experience in a related teamRecent front-line social work experienceDirect work with children to be able to identify their needsGood multi-agency working experience Qualifications:The successful candidate must have a Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.Additional Information: Caseloads are about 18 childrenSupervision every four weeksManager available every day for ad hoc advice and supervisionPay rate: £38 per hour capped at £42Drivers Licence and car owner essential due to rural locations in the area How to Apply:If you are an experienced Social Worker with the necessary skills and qualifications, and you are looking for a new challenge, please apply today by submitting your CV and a cover letter.
