The successful candidate will support the business in meeting its Safety, Health, and Environmental SHE needs and regulations, ensuring high standards of compliance, and fostering a culture of safety throughout the organisation. Establish and maintain SHE legislation in line with requirements for occupational safety.Assist with preparations for environmental and waste management audits.Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a positive safety culture.Develop risk assessments and standard operating procedures SOPs.Maintain licenses to operate and any legally required permits.Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety legislation.Promote and facilitate a continuously improving safety culture and SHE performance. Qualifications and Requirements for the SHE Manager: Minimum of a NEBOSH Certificate.Degree qualified in a relevant field.Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience chemical industry preferred.Good working knowledge of environmental and ISO audit standards.Strong understanding of SHE legislation and requirements.Previous leadership experience is essential.
