Job description Sanford Federal, Inc. is seeking a Community Readiness Consultant at RAF Croughton, UK, to support Airmen and their families with readiness and transition services. If you are passionate about supporting military families, apply now.Location: RAF Croughton, United KingdomReports to: Family Services and Sustainment Flight (422 ABS/FSA) Position Overview: The Community Readiness Consultant will support Airmen and their families at RAF Croughton by providing readiness, resilience, transition assistance, resource, and referral services. The Consultant will act as a liaison between the 422 ABS/FSA Sustainment & Family Services Flight and the RAF Croughton community, promoting A&FRC programs and services. Key Responsibilities: Program Coordination and Support: Administer and coordinate A&FRC programs in support of the 422nd ABG Commander's initiatives for community health, welfare, and mission readiness. Communicate and promote core A&FRC services, including Loan Locker services, Community Attic program, Hearts Apart Events, AF Sponsorship program, Newcomers Support Services, Information and Referral, Transition Assistance, Smooth Moves, and Pre-deployment and Reintegration briefings. Customer Service: Deliver professional and courteous customer service, maintaining confidentiality as required by the Privacy Act. Assist customers with necessary paperwork for the Loan Locker program and ensure the maintenance of loaned items. Information Dissemination: Disseminate information on local services and resources. Coordinate and facilitate classes, seminars, and workshops, and collaborate with RAF Alconbury 423 FSS/FSH when applicable. Attend and contribute to Community Action Team (CAT) meetings. Database and Record Maintenance: Maintain the Military Home Front's Plan My Move database. Keep records of all services provided under the Community Readiness Program. Event Coordination: Facilitate pre-deployment and reintegration briefings, Hearts Apart events, and Newcomers Program briefings. Promote A&FRC programs through speaking events and social media. Training and Budget Coordination: Provide training for the Air Force Sponsorship program. Coordinate and route budget requirements related to Community Readiness. Professional Conduct: Maintain a neat, clean, and professional image at all times. Do not accept or collect any money from customers. Emergency Support: Perform support roles for the Emergency Family Assistance Center (EFAC) during crises or emergencies. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role. Skills: Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat). Ability to navigate websites, social media, and perform internet searches. Requirements: Must not be a current employee of the U.S. Government. Must complete and submit DD Form 2875 for network access and complete necessary training. Work Schedule: Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Federal Holidays Observed: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
