Production Team LeaderLocation: GranthamWorking hours: Monday : Thursday 7:45am : 3:45pm, Friday 7:45am : 3:15pm37.5 hours a weekPay rate: To be discussed in application Our client is a global manufacturing company, specialising in providing engineering solutions to an extensive list of high:profile companies. This Production Team Leader role will be responsible for overseeing the assembly of hydraulics and valves for various industries. The successful Production Team Leader will be responsible for: * Producing hydraulic components using hand tools and machinery,* Following standard operating procedures in order to assemble components in a timely manner, accurately and to the quality expected,* Operate and monitor assembly line machines,* Escalate line problems to supervisors,* Performs minor assembly line set up duties in preparation of assembly operations,* Meeting established unit production targets,* Inspection of all work, ensuring that any defects are identified,* Complete paperwork as required,* Keeps work area clean and tidy,* Observing safety rules at all times, The ideal Production Team Leader will have: * Previous experience working within a production, manufacturing or engineering environment is essential* Technical knowledge and ability to read SOPs, blueprints, drawings etc. * Ability to use hand tools,* Good understanding of quality control principles,* Good communication skills (verbal and written),* Computer literate.
