The role will be focussed on supporting their insurance and reinsurance clients with capital modelling.This is a permanent position and can be based out of London, Edinburgh or Glasgow. Essential Skills/Experience: Significant experience in building capital models and/or developing capital modelling methodology, as well as Solvency II/Solvency UK requirements, either ‘in-house’ at an insurer or in consultingExperience of planning projects and track record of delivering quality work on scheduleExcellent consulting skills and proven record of achievement and deliveryFlexible in approach and comfortable with working in a changing environmentProven ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting demandsStrong personal values, including a commitment to professional and ethical behaviourCollegiate worker with high emotional intelligence, able to quickly establish good working relationships with colleagues They are looking for a dynamic colleague with a deep understanding or working knowledge in one or more of the following: Capital modelling, including Solvency II Internal Models or other Economic Capital modelsInternal Model validationSolvency II/UK requirementsMatching Adjustment applications and/or managing MA portfoliosRisk frameworks and risk appetite setting for insurersStress and scenario testingWider UK insurance regulatory environment and PRA agenda.
