As the Management Accountant you be reporting to the CFO, taking responsibility for the end-to-end Management Accounts process including commentary and analysis of the data for multiple subsidiaries. Producing the monthly reporting pack and assisting with the Budgeting / Forecasting, as well as, assisting with the management of the AP & AR Team. In addition, you’ll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to assist with Due Diligence and Financial Modelling for prospective acquisitions and new product lines.This is a great opportunity for an experienced and ideally qualified Management Accountant to join a fast growing and forward-thinking business where you rapidly progress.THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT ROLE: Reporting to the CFO, taking responsibility for the end-to-end Management Accounts process for multiple subsidiariesProducing reporting pack with commentary and actionable insights for the SLTResponsible for full reconciliation of the Balance sheet and control accountsAssisting with the Management of the AP & AR function.Assisting with Monthly, Quarterly and Annual BudgetsAssist the team with income reconciliation process and ensuring the accuracy of day-to-day transactions.Deal with financial queries to ensure that accurate financial data is being reportProducing Financial Models for target Business AcquisitionsSupporting with the Year End and External Audit processWorking closely with the wider finance team to ensure that all key objectives are achievedReviewing the month end processes, suggesting and implementing new controls and processes where required THE PERSON: Must have experience in a Management Accountant role or similar, such as, Senior Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner or similar.Experience in a Financial Services / FCA Regulated business in similar role is essentialPreferably ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualified, however, exceptional QBE or MAAT Qualified candidates will be considered.Good experience of Financial Modelling and Data AnalysisAdvanced MS Excel skills is essentialMust be on a maximum of one month’s notice or be immediately available.Experience or the ability to assist with the Due Diligence for acquisitions would be a big an advantageExperience of Xero Accounting Software would be an advantage but is not essential.
