We are looking for an HGV2 Driver to join a small welcoming, professional, and friendly company. Our client is located close to Banbury 10 miles with an excellent reputation for service and quality. You will be responsible for driving an HGV vehicle tipper and will ideally also have an MPQC card this is desirable, not essential. This is a full time, permanent position based on 40 hours per week – working hours may vary depending on workload, overtime will be available.Key responsibilities of the HGV 2 Driver include: Operating a 32 tonne tipper lorrySupervising the loading of the vehicle so that products are safely loaded and secured to minimise chances of damageMaintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the driving cabEnsuring accidents are kept to a minimumWorking carefully and promptly to ensure the deliveries are prompt and delivered safelyWriting delivery tickets and maintaining paperwork The HGV 2 Driver must be/have: Reliable and trustworthyPersonable and professional approachAble to build rapport with customersPrompt – an excellent time keeperAppropriate licensesMPQC card desirableSafe Urban Driving certificate desirableCPC Qualification desirableOrganised and efficient with paperworkAble to commute to the Banbury areaComfortable with early startsResponsible to keep the lorry clean and tidyA clean driving licence preferred / less than six penalty points considered Hours: 40 hours per week5 hours of guaranteed overtime at time and a half Salary: Up to £18ph inc. overtimeSix-month probation21 days holidayCompany statutory pension scheme Location: Banbury village location – Oxon / Warks border with travelling distance of up to 100 miles
