A welder is required at a well-established Structural Steel Fabrication company, the site is based in West London, starting Thursday 4th of July Contract Duration: 2 weeks Hourly Rate: £28 Working Hours: 8 hours per day Responsibilities: Performing welding tasks such as testing stiffeners into existing steels.A welder is required at a well-established Structural Steel Fabrication company, the site is based in West London, starting Thursday 4th of July Contract Duration: 2 weeks Hourly Rate: £28 Working Hours: 8 hours per day Responsibilities: Performing welding tasks such as testing stiffeners into existing steels.Executing fillet welds in downhand and vertical positions to be NDT-tested Non-Destructive Testing.Conducting visual checks for butt welds infilling castellation.Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.Ensuring welds meet quality and safety standards.Maintaining welding equipment and tools in good condition.Adhering to health and safety guidelines and procedures at all times. Requirements: Proven experience as a Welder, with expertise in downhand and vertical fillet welds.Ability to perform NDT Non-Destructive Testing on welds.Competency in visual inspections for welding quality.Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in welding operations.
