As a Neighbourhood Officer your role will include: Providing an effective proactive neighbourhood management serviceBeing responsible for the management of communal spaces, facilities and HRA land within Babergh and Mid Suffolk Districts with a focus on the health, safety and the welfare of residentsSupporting colleagues within the Housing Service to provide excellent customer service, resolve complaints and develop service improvements based on customer feedback.Working collaboratively with other teams to ensure housing communities remain places where people want to live and lead healthy and independent livesBe a visible presence in our neighbourhoods and communities identifiable and recognisable by residents.Managing your own diary and caseloads Requirements: Experience - must be able to hit the ground runningHave solid experience of working in a relevant specialist area which could include housing, estate management or community workHave a flexible approach to the role and pick up work outside of one's own specialismBe committed to providing a high level of customer serviceHave excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
