Job Title: Production Operative Location: Coalville Salary: A GBP 25,608 per year Job type: Full Time : Permanent. Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for a reliable Production Operative to join our team working on a two:shift rotating basis : 5:30am to 1:30pm and 1:30pm to 9:30pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility with a willingness to learn and embrace new skills will also form a fundamental requirement of the role. Key personal attributes include a dedicated, reliable and hardworking ethic.What youll be doing: * Ensure all work is carried out safely.* Ensure all equipment is in a safe and serviceable condition.* Enforce and promote safety and housekeeping in your area of work.* To report safety and hazard faults.* Ensure customer quality standards are maintained at all times, including board caliper, print coverage, colour matching, die registration, case size and case squareness.* Ensure a rapid response to machine failures and breakdowns and inform relevant departments (planning and despatch).* Keep Line Manager informed of work progress.* Ensure cleaning schedules are rigidly adhered to and meet the agreed schedule (daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly checks).* Employ continuous improvement techniques and share best practice with colleagues.* Demonstrate flexibility to cover absence and sickness as required.
