GPW Recruitment are actively looking for an experienced Quantity surveyor, on behalf of an accredited main contractor based in London.Our client are external facade/specialists established for over a decade working on high end commercial properties across london and the north west of England.This is a permanent position, and salary is dependant on experience but is competitive our client will consider senior qs applications.GPW Recruitment are actively looking for an experienced Quantity surveyor, on behalf of an accredited main contractor based in London.Our client are external facade/specialists established for over a decade working on high end commercial properties across london and the north west of England.This is a permanent position, and salary is dependant on experience but is competitive our client will consider senior qs applications.Key Responsibilities: Conducting detailed cost analysis for materials, labour, and equipment required for facades and cladding projects.Preparing accurate and comprehensive tender documents and cost estimates.Managing project budgets and tracking expenses to ensure adherence to financial targets.Collaborating with project managers to assess and mitigate financial risks.Negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favourable terms.Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and assess cost variations.Providing timely reports and updates to stakeholders on project financial performance. Requirements Minimum of 5 years experience in cost control, cost management, cost planning, and cost reportingProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost control techniques.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.Effective communication and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to build strong relationships with stakeholders.Proficiency in relevant software toolsRelevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field.
