My client is an established engineering manufacturing firm based in Birmingham and commutable from Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Solihull and Tamworth. They are currently looking for a skilled CNC Milling Programmer to join their team. The Role: CNC Milling Programmer- Set, operate and program CNC 3 and 5-axis Fanuc Milling Machines- Online program editing and programming from scratch- Adjusting offsets and making adjustments within programs- Working on Fanuc-based controls - Working from drawings- Quality control of components- Maintaining machinery, removing swarf and routine oiling/greasing etc- Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate- Complies with all Company rules including all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements Minimum Skills / Experience Required: CNC Milling Programmer- Experience of Setting, Operating and Programming CNC 3 or 5 axis Mills- CNC Miller on Fanuc controls- CNC Programming experience essential- Experience with Precision Engineering and working to tight tolerances- Experience in the Defence industry is desirable- Experience working from engineering drawings- Able to quality check own parts- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines with a high level of quality standards achieved- Motivated and excellent team player The Package: CNC Milling Programmer- Starting rate up to £20 per hour dependent on experience- Choice of Days or Late Shift- Day shifts are Mon Thurs, 07:30-16:00 Friday - 07:30-12:30- Late Shifts are Mon Thurs 12:15-22:00 4 day week- Pension- 25 Days Holiday- Progression opportunities Interested To apply for this CNC Milling Programmer position, here are your two options:1.
