Landscape Technician Charge Hand Ely : covering sites across Cambridgeshire GBP 12.01 per hour 40 hours per week : Monday to Friday : 8:00am : 4:30pm External posting : Temporary position for up to 3 months We are looking for temporary Landscape Technician Charge Hands (also known as a Grounds Maintenance Charge Hand) to be responsible for the clearing and maintenance of void property gardens. We are in the height of growing season so these gardens need regular maintenance to ensure they are presented well to the public. You will be working alongside another Landscape Technician Charge Hand and will be provided with a shared company vehicle for all travel to sites. The main area covered will be East Cambridgeshire with the possibility of occasionally travelling further afield. The role of Landscape Technician Charge Hand will include: :Use equipment and materials in a safe manner as instructed and in accordance with risk assessment and the manufacturer's guidance:Carry out all hazardous tasks such as spraying, in accordance with supplier guidelines ensuring relevant records are maintained to comply with health and safety and legal requirements:Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and continue to be suitable for required tasks:Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations Skills and experiences: :NVQ3 or equivalent in Horticulture or similar discipline is desirable:Recent experience of working within a similar role where operating gardening machinery is essential:This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence Why work for us?
