This role is being recruited due to growth, the Management Accountant will report directly to the Finance Director and will be responsible for assisting with the management of the delivery of monthly financial reporting and other external reporting within agreed timetables. An immediate start is available. What's on Offer Competitive salary packageReduced prices on company productsWork from home 1 / 2 days per weekReporting to and working alongside the Finance Director based in Gibraltar What You Will Be Doing Full assistance in preparation of the consolidated monthly management accountsFull review of all overhead expenditureManagement on a daily basis of accruals and prepayments and balance checksMaintenance of the Fixed Assets Register and the accounting ledgerFull control and reconciliation of all Balance Sheet Control AccountsReview and control Cash Flow statementsEnsure all expense claims are paid accordinglyProvide professional support and, when required, the necessary cover for the Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Treasury functions of the businessWork with external Auditors and generally manage the audit processAd hoc duties that arise within a busy accounting department and go “with the territory” of such a position as this What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role Relevant qualification - AAT qualified, ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualifiedRelevant working experience as outlined above, minimum of 5 yearsAbility to build and maintain good working relationshipsHave a strong work ethic, be flexible and above all be a team playerExcellent interpersonal skills as you will need to capable of liaising with senior staff members/Board level employees.
