Overview: The CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) Consultant is a role that combines expertise in CLM systems with a deep understanding of their usage and implementation. This individual acts as a subject-matter-expert (SME) to support the sales team in closing CLM implementation deals and ensures that project requirements are meticulously gathered for successful delivery. Key Responsibilities: Sales Support & Subject-Matter Expertise: Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide technical and functional expertise during the sales process. Present and demonstrate CLM solutions to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and value proposition. When necessary, mobilise the necessary resources in the business to setup custom demos or run POC projects in the process of supporting a sale Address technical queries and objections from potential clients, offering tailored solutions to meet their needs. Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFPs, and other sales-related documentation. Requirements Gathering: Engage with clients to understand their business processes, pain points, and objectives related to contract management. Conduct detailed requirements gathering sessions, including interviews, workshops, and document analysis. Translate client requirements into clear and comprehensive documentation for the implementation team. Ensure all gathered requirements are aligned with the client's business goals and the capabilities of the CLM solution. Coordination with Implementation Team: Serve as the primary liaison between the client and the implementation team. Provide the implementation team with all necessary information, clarifications, and support to ensure successful project delivery. Collaborate with the project manager to monitor project progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project timelines. Customer Success & Implementation Oversight: Support the project manager in developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and milestones. Participate in regular status meetings with the client and the implementation team to ensure transparency and effective communication. Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide guidance on issue resolution. Ensure the final implementation meets client expectations and delivers the desired business outcomes. Post-Implementation: Gather feedback from clients post-implementation to identify areas for improvement in both the CLM solution and the implementation process. Help the customer identify the appropriate Post Implementation Support requirements and propose a solution Facilitate a smooth transition to Customer Success Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in CLM implementation projects, with a strong understanding of CLM systems and implementation methodologies. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity and a keen attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Experience working with offshore teams and managing remote collaboration. Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
