This is an exciting time for a Facilities Manager to join a dedicated infrastructure team to maintain a historic building and keep visitors safe. At the same time, a renovation project is about to commence, and you will play a key role in delivery. Working 3:4 days per week. THE ROLE: Reporting to the Head of Conservation and Building Work, and the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance work and regular H and S tests. This includes: : Overall H and S for staff and visitors : Safety audits and training for staff : Managing and planning H and S inspections, tests, fire risk assessments, risk assessments : Prepares, RAMS, and maintain accurate records : Act as a key holder for emergency call:outs : Renew and maintain CCTV and entry system : Develop, management keep updated Facilities and Maintenance Plan : Oversee contracts with third parties : Day:to:day responsibility for facilities and H and S budgets KEY SKILLS and EXPERIENCE: : Experience in Health and Safety with IOSH or NEBOSH certification : Facilities management experience : Experience managing budgets : Excellent organisational skills : Hands:on as well as strategic : Computer literate with Microsoft Word and Excel. SALARY and BENEFITS: : GBP 37,000 : GBP 43,000 (pro:rata), dependent on experience : 23 days holiday + public holidays (pro:rata) : Pension.
