Whether an off the shelf solution or tailored customisation, their experience across a broad range of industry sectors and applications allows them to offer industry focused expertise to a variety of customer requirements. Due to continued growth and business requirements, they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Electronic / Senior Electronic Engineer to join their design team. We are interested in speaking to Engineers with at least 2 years relevant industry experience and in turn my client are able to offer an extremely attractive salary in line with experience and an extensive rewards and benefits package Key Responsibilities: Lead, operate, and develop products to meet customer requirements on time and within budgetDesign systems and test specifications to fulfil requirementsComplete testing and validation of systems against objectives to validate designsProactively re-engineer existing products to reduce costs while maintaining product qualityEnsure efficient and consistent translation of products from development to productionSupport the sales team in producing technical information and cost estimates for bids.Collaborate with customers to agree on requirements, provide progress updates, control changes, and deliver to acceptance criteriaProvide technical support for products throughout their lifecycleBuild strong relationships with preferred suppliers and encourage their contribution to new product developmentIdentify and define work packages and tasks required for timely, high-quality project deliveryReport project and technical progress to internal stakeholders on behalf of the departmentCoordinate product handovers from Engineering to Production Essential Experience Requirements: Hold a BEng Degree or Master’s Degree in electronic or Mechatronics Engineering, or hold a number of years relevant experience in a similar roleAt least 5 years’ experience, involved in full product life cycle from initial product design through to product test and sign offPCB Design, ideally using AltiumStrong understanding of component selection / sourcing, component obsolescence, component complianceHold a British Passport with the ability to obtain UK Security Clearance Desired Experience Requirements: RF and/or FPGA DesignCommunications ethernet, serial, USBEMC compliance knowledgeEnvironmental compliance knowledgeMechanical enclosure design/draughting experience
