Join a leading MSP as a IT System Support Engineer (Level 3) to support over 200 clients across Scotland and England. Working for an MSP is not for everyone; there are easier and less demanding IT roles. The learning curve is steep (even steeper working for the systems team), and the work can feel unrewarding, often pushing you to your limits. However, if you want to test yourself and push your boundaries to become a well:rounded IT professional, advising business owners and IT departments, this might be the IT job for you. THE ROLE: Overall, you will lay the groundwork for efficient helpdesk operations and ensure successful deployment of IT projects. : Provide Level 3 Support: Offer advanced support for helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues. : Project Management: Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. : Microsoft 365 Expertise: Utilise in:depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 to support and improve client environments. : Cyber Security: Implement and maintain robust cyber security measures to protect client and company data. : System Monitoring: Regularly check and ensure that all systems are functioning optimally for the team. : Network and Server Management: Maintain a thorough understanding of networks and servers to support and troubleshoot as needed. : IT Security and Best Practices: Ensure all operations adhere to the highest IT security and best practice standards. KEY SKILLS and EXPERIENCE: : Recent experience in all of the above tasks : MSP experience essential : Driving license is beneficial for client visits.
