In the UK, we are leaders focused on recycling, energy recovery and circular economy, managing all different environmental liabilities in a sustainable way.Position:Mobile Technical services (MTS)Location:Knowsley, Liverpool.We offer * Base salary £27- £30K * Bonus targeted 7.5% * 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays. * Pension * Access to our benefits platform for discounts and cash back on shopping purchases, gyms and leisure activities, cycle to work scheme and dedicated wellbeing centre The role * Mobile Technical Services Chemist will be responsible for the organisation and coordination of hazardous waste collections from customer facilities as required. * Someone who has worked as a Site Chemist would be a good fit for this role. * The MTS service operates from multiple Tradebe locations across the UK. * Organising collections from client's sites and delivering to waste transfer site for disposal * Comply with Health & Safety policies and procedures ensuring all requirements required are met both on client's sites and at waste receipt/disposal sites. * Technically assess, segregate, label and pack waste on client's site with documentation compliant to current UK legislation. * Compile and maintain list of hazardous waste needing collection and disposal producing required documentation and ensure compliance with current legislation. * Collection and loading waste onto transport vehicle with the aid of material handling equipment making it safe and suitable for transportation, safely driving company vehicle to the hazardous waste site for disposal when on the premises make for safe and efficient off-loading. * Local laws regulating safe driving and the safe and proper handling and loading in the transport of Dangerous Goods Essential Skills * Chemistry qualification HNC or above * Experience in Industrial Services/ chemical waste industry. * Positive attitude, good communication and relationship building skills. * Full driving license. Desirable Skills * Trained or experienced in Confined Space Entry or Confined Space Rescue * Trained or experienced in using High Pressure Water Jetting * Trained or experienced ADR & FLT Driver with licence would be an added advantage.
