Leaving Care Personal AdvisorLeaving Care Personal AdvisorDuration: Initially 3 months Hours: 36 hours a week Rate: £25 umbrella an hourAbout the RoleThe Personal Advisor will be based at the unit in North Finchley, N12. The successful candidate will need to be in about twice per week. The role involves working with young people leaving care and asylum-seeking young people, providing them with support, guidance and advice to help them achieve their goals. The role requires experience of working with these groups of young people.Key Responsibilities Provide support, guidance and advice to young people leaving care and asylum-seeking young peopleAssist young people in developing their life skills, including budgeting, cooking and cleaningProvide support in accessing education, training and employment opportunitiesWork with other professionals to ensure that young people receive the best possible supportKeep accurate records of all work undertaken with young people Requirements Experience of working with young people leaving care and asylum-seeking young peopleExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesGood IT skills, including Microsoft Office How to ApplyIf you are interested in this role and meet the requirements, please submit your CV.
