My client, based in Bristol, design and manufacture a range of high precision electro-mechanical products that are sold all over the world. Due to expansion, they currently require a RF Test Engineer to join their Engineering team. My Bristol based client use numerous motion and control systems, incorporating best in class solutions from leading manufacturers. This includes lasers and motion which are often non-industrial systems, to meet the micromachining challenges their customers present. To apply for this RF Test Engineer job, it would be beneficial if you had: High level of High frequency RF matching & signal processing up to 8KW.High level of electronics knowledge.Effective communication skills.HNC in Electronics or higher.Programming/software experience. As an RF Test Engineer, you will be responsible for: First line diagnosis of all production and field issues associated with RF and test procedures to determine root cause and practical solution.Train and certify Test Engineers in the correct use of test documents, procedures, and equipment.Support our test document author for content and expertise by defining, implementing, and maintaining test schedules and methods.Produce and end to end manufacture simple control systems including software for ATE equipment.Manage commissioning of ATE automatic test equipment, ensuring compatibility with legacy products where practical.
